Why Choose Full-Arch Restoration
Using the All-on-4 Technique?
Though our traditional dental implants made from zirconia and an implant-supported denture are a great solution for widespread tooth loss, not all patients qualify. Fortunately, All-on-4 dental implants can support your denture while offering unique benefits, such as:
Improved Candidacy
Traditional dental implant-supported dentures are the best way to treat tooth loss—unless you have experienced advanced jaw atrophy, a natural side effect of tooth loss. By angling the posterior implants to achieve maximum surface contact with the bone tissue of the jaw, this solution can often support dentures right away, without the need for bone grafting.
Less Cost and Time
Traditional dental implant techniques can be expensive and time-consuming. Treatment with All-on-4 implants comes at a reduced cost, often eliminates the need for preparatory surgery, and involves a shorter treatment process.
Quicker Relief
Because the innovative All-on-4 technique involves placing specially designed dental implants at angles that maximize contact with bone tissue, they are immediately stable enough to support a full denture, allowing you to leave our Santa Fe dental office with a complete and functional smile. You would have to wait several months for traditional dental implants to integrate with the jaw and become able to support your restoration.

Advanced Care Backed by Expertise and Innovation
Expertise You Can Trust
Choosing oral surgery is a big decision, and our patients deserve more than just routine care. At the Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center of Santa Fe, Dr. Sean Healy and Dr. Diego Hurtado offer a level of surgical training and experience that sets them apart. Both doctors have completed years of advanced education focused specifically on oral and maxillofacial procedures, including full-arch restorations like All-on-4. This depth of expertise allows us to treat complex cases with precision and confidence, often reducing the need for follow-up or revision procedures.
Technology That Drives Precision
Advanced tools are not just nice to have. They are essential to the success of procedures like All-on-4. That is why we use the X-Guide by X-Nav, a real-time surgical navigation system. This technology provides 3D imaging and turn-by-turn guidance during surgery, helping us place each implant with exceptional accuracy. By aligning digital planning with live feedback, we reduce margin for error, improve comfort, and ensure stable, lasting results. Patients across Santa Fe, Taos, Los Alamos, Española, Las Vegas, and surrounding areas trust our practice to combine innovation with surgical excellence.

An Alternative Option: Advanced Zygomatic Implants
If you have suffered severe bone recession, you may have been told that you are not a candidate for any type of implant-supported dentures. Zygomatic implants may be the solution, offering support for replacement teeth on your upper dental arch.
We will insert these longer implants into your cheekbones, rather than your jawbone. Thus, we can eliminate the need for bone grafting or a sinus lift. These preparatory surgeries typically require an additional 6-12 months of recovery before you can receive your implants.
Zygomatic implants also have a higher success rate than traditional implants combined with a graft or sinus lift. Dr. Healy and Dr. Hurtado will use our advanced technology to evaluate your jawbone health. Then they can determine whether traditional implants, All-on-4, or zygomatic implants are right for you.
